Title: Performance Air Filters
Post by: Gary022 on 12 August 2012, 19:13
Mk4 1.8t Golf

Unsure wether to purchase a standard cone air filter (K&N) or a cheaper cold air induction kit.

which is better for sound as im aware they make very little change to performance.

and if you know of any better please link me :).

all depends on your setup really..

Either way, the above setup offers the best air flow in g/s recorded by the MAF sensor.

Its the best until you start to get into your big turbo conversions.

After-market filters should last longer then OEM. But performance increases is that true? Do you get more bhp?
