Replaced the clutch cable today on the gti, and wow, what a difference, feels like new again, I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't replaced theirs, a great £20 spent, next up us the gear linkage replacement

Had mine done about a week ago.Car feels like new again or so id imagine, certainly alot better than the old one which made the pedal so hard to press down and sticky. The new one is so much easier to drive with and silky smooth.

I need to do mine, is it a hard job?? Thanks Ben

It's not particularly difficult, but attaching the end of the cable onto the plastic hook on the pedal is a bit fiddly, and the bung between the engine bay and underneath the scuttle panel is awkward!

Cheers mate ill add that to the list of jobs then lol
