Well after selling the Mark 3 Anni Saturday morning I went out and bought the car I had my eye on. A 2003 03 Plate Skoda Octavia VRS. 97K on clock with Full Service History and MOT till March 2013. Needs a little bit of tlc like the drivers side mirror needs replacing and the pads and discs will need changing in a couple of months but runs well and has cleaned up pretty well. Not a bad replacement for the Mark 3 and with a small amount of change left in my pocket. Excuse the pics as it has been cleaned in between showers and no decent pics took yet but you get the idea.

Wayne mk2...nice car with lots of potential.

Very comfy and very smooth and loads quicker than the Mark 3 but no doubt it wont be long till I get bored of it   Still at the price it came up for I could not let this go and will enjoy it for now. How long before I want a Mark 3 back ??

looks good, i had my mind set n getting one of these, but i wanted another mk3 before id even sold my current one lol

If mine had sold a couple of weeks earlier then I would have bought Waynes after seeing it in the flesh. But this came on the net Friday night and I contacted the chap within five minutes and went to see it Satursay teatime and drove it home straight away for a very good price. Gave it the good clean it needed this morning and now need to take it out and get sone decent pics for a new sig cause I dont want to see my Anni after every post now.

Thanks for all the comments chaps.....and Tez....no plans for mods whatsoever. Am going to spend my money doing the little jobs that need doing and keeping the car running and looking good really.

Did Wayne not have a couple of things before his VRS ?? And did look at a Beemer before buying this but this knocks Beemers and Mark 4 Golfs into fits as is better inside and has the makings of a Golf anyway but just with added comfort. For the money I paid for this I cant lose anyway especially as my insurance company value this well over twice as much as I paid......
