Hi all,
Just bought my first ever Golf gti
Only downside is im offshore until the 21st August so i cant pick it up yet.
Nice spec with dsg, sat-nav, bi-xenons + golf 'r' pack (springs, ecu remap, exhaust + air filter)
Cant wait to drive it again
Any things to look out for or advice you can share would be appreciated.
Regarding the sat nav, it also has a media connection ? and is it hard drive based or dvd for maps....
Cheers

-
Welcome mate....
nice spec...

Looks their may be an R line spec, but not a GTi. R pack isn't on UK website?
-
Wellcome to the forum enjoy
-
Welcome!
Remember, pics are mandatory.

Hi and welcome I would like to know more about the R spec too?
-
Hi,
yes is it a dealer fitted pack or parts that come with separate warranty

I'm just outside Middlesbrough, if you need any help just give me a shout.
Also got VCDS if you need any tweeks etc.

How much was that if you don't mind me asking? Opens up the ongoing debate about remaps and warranties too. If a dealer can approve a vwr remap, exhaust and non stock air filter then surely if you went direct it would be approved too? Surely it sets some sort of arguable president?
Great find, I'm sure it'll look mint and sound fantastic.

You have Scatsta International Portacabin to deal with then?
I was on Cormorant Alpha for a couple of years...that place is a toilet of biblical proportions :lipsrsealed:

Same here...22 months and not once did I get out and back on time.
I couldn't wait to get back down central.
