It's more than double that to tax the same car in Ireland so sounds like a bargain to me

What does the money raised from the Road Fund Licence get spent on?
There isn’t actually a specific road fund. Instead, the money raised from the Road Fund Licence gets put into a central pot along with money from other taxes. This then gets divided up amongst all the public services that the Government needs wants to spend waste money on

It's bulls**t, although virtually insignificant considering what we have to spend on fuel. Both up way past the rate of inflation.

And that's just the beginning... This country, and this world will become a lot worse with time... Its something we all know will happen

Yeah its something we all know will happen but won't do anything about. Thats the problem with this country and lots of others. People are far too infatuated with all the materialistic things in life to take notice but yet all too quick to moan when it begins to affect them.

The scary thing is that's not too far off what a reasonable 8v mk3 is worth these days.
