Not sure, need to get some prices as I can't afford a huge amount but want something reliable. Been give. Motech tuning as a local company from a few vw and Audi specialists round here. He is charging £250 for a remap and expects around 245 out of it. Plus he guarantees silt for the time I own the car which I can't find any faults in that.

All I wud suggest is go to a well known and trusted mapper, £250 seems a bit cheap to me and I wudnt want my pride and joy in the hands of a cowboy(I'm not saying for one min that Motech tuning) are....all I'm saying is go with someone with a good track record and someone that wud be willing to help if something went wrong...hence why I said the Doc, he's a forum sponsor and mod and has a great track record and of course knows his stuff...
You might pay a little more(not much) but for the peace of mind of someone at the end of the phone IF something did go wrong surely wud be worth it!
Just think it thro pal, just consider the amount the car was and what cud happen if something did go wrong...I mean yes you might save a little on the initial remap but WHAT IF!!
Just my 2p's worth...
-
Took it to KPM Racing this morning to do some final tweaks to the B16s, geometry and arbs to get it just how a wanted

Just bought an rcd510 for the 35. GTi side skirts get fitted to Mrs ginge's cab this week while the dealer are respraying the front bumper as I've challenged them on the quality of the paint:- excessive stone chips already.

Which dealer was this I'm asking because my bonnet has got 4 stone chip due to paint being about 1mi thick. Its beginning to p*ss me off esp car being white
-
TL Darby in Burton in Trent.
-
Retrofitted R LED's, had bluetooth and cruise fitted and hopefully an RNS 510 soon, fitted seat inserts and the rabbit logo on the bootlid.
-
LED Rear number plate lights, and LED side ights to make it look nicer with the xenons.
Plus GTI seat inserts thanks to Gulf which are definately worth fitting.
Then I changed the dunlops the car came with for Goodyear AS2 :)
Thinking about LED's for the interior now.

That is not right as my CW MK6 was good ref stone chips.
ED35 already has plenty of nice touches. Mine has the Glendales which is a change from the Monza's.
