Title: RCD510 Bluetooth Microphone Issue

Afternoon all,

I recently purchased this bluetooth kit - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271015844153?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271015844153?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) for mt RCD510.  I had it installed yesterday and everything apart from one small thing is working - the MICROPHONE!

I have been in contact with the company that supplied the kit and they keep telling me that "You need to join the microphone wires together 2 black 2 white". 

The issue that I think I have is that the kit is for the RNS510 which has different microphone wiring.  The bluetooth kit was apparantly modified to work with the RCD510 on a plug and play basis.

Does anyone have anything to add that would help me get the Microphone working? 

I very much look forward to hearing a solution.

Have you tried what they've suggested? I had the same issue when a forum friend fitted mine first time and joining the mic cables fixed it.
