once mine is warm it normally sits around the 800ish mark, are you saying that is sits at 700rpm even from cold?

Normally it's arround 850/900 when it's at work tempetarute and when it's cold engine but Here we are at 35 degrees and ever works at 800 rpm...

Maybe it's a Dirty idle valve? where is it?

this it is my engine(https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/156438_3816435125618_108059370_n.jpg)

Code AGG

a dirty throttle body can cause low idle

if that doesn't work vag-com and then check vacuum pipes for splits

Does it run better when it's warm? Could be temp sensor that's shorted out and making your ECU think it's hot?!

Here's how you measure it in a nutshell:

arent they both just lying there un-connected to the left of that intake pipe and bottom right of the intake pipe . can see the temp sensor plug and either a HID kit of the MAF unit ?

I just zoomed in on that area and there is what looks like the top plastic electrical box from the MAF sat there. But looking closer think it may be as you say a HID ballast.
I can't see temp sensor or MAF tunnel anywhere.
Have you just bought this car mate?

why dont you try putting everything to standard first before asking questions.
your ecu wont have a clue what to do without everything plugged in.

once you've done that replace the cheap bits first such as the water tempt sensor which can make running rough. a sticky idle controle valve sorted my idling issue but DONT buy a pattern part. either get a Bosche part from another golf or fork out for a new one the pattern parts are beyond sh!t.

the agg doesn't have an idle control valve. it's siemens/simos/hitachi injection

oh and it will run without a maf fitted or the air temp sensor fitted (I know cars which have had faulty maf's for years!)

I think my MAF is buggered. Tested it yesterday by having the engine running and unplugging it and plugging it back in and it made no diferance to the way the engine ran.

That's a good way of testing it, although proper vag-com can give live maf readings to make 100% sure (I'm sure someone knows what the readings should be?)

Sorry Mates but today I was changing the distribution strap. Now I going to answer all!

I have got no connected de Mass Aire and temperature because the car worked better..Now I don't know. Today  I done a travel of 140 km at 100km per hour..Normally do a 7'2 L/km... today at the same speed 9'2 ¬¬ WHY!?

probably because your car is maybe over fueling do to it not having a MAF telling the ECU how much air is going into the engine so it does not no how much fuel to use.
