Right thought id do a project page as i regretted not having one for my last golf.
So i paid £500 for my 16v gti anniversary with 8 days mot and no tax. I thought this was a bargain. It seems mechanically sound and rot free but gas a lot of body work issues.

So first job was MOT which it failed on a worn brake pipe so £30 later 12 months ticket.... Well chuffed.
Next .... Swap my early vento front end onto it

But i thought it looked odd with it on so sold it and fitted golf front with a debadged grill i was trying to sell a while back, looks loads better. Also fitted my coilovers and new strut top mounts

Last night i swapped the roof lining for my bkack suede one and fitted my black ABC pillars. Photos to follow

Cant get pics of the abc trims or roof as its to dark! I picked a new bonnet in much better condition than the obe on the car but it has some stickers on it which im undecided on. They were across thw whole bonnet but i took most of them off

:cool: cheers dude, got center caps for them now, going to paint the centres and keep the rim polished, but it's just another job on the list ATM !

Been a while so thought i should update this. Since last time i have fitted 4 new straight doors which i got in the right colour for £35! I also figured out why my rear windows werent working which has meant waiting for a new motor on passenger rear door. Santa has been tho and left me a us splitter, us center console, rear red lights, rear headrests , a new passenger wing and a rear window motor :grin:.
