Still have problems with my car starting. One day it will be fine stopping and starting no problem at all. Next day It will start then it wont turn over at all If i go back to it and will have to wait 5min or so and It will generally start and the EPC/batt light comes on with no turning over. Its driving me mad and need it sorted. I took it to a garage and it started every time for them, and he said he checked starter motor and seemed fine aswell as battery.
What the hell can it be. Could it be a sensor or something.

Checked the ground cables?
-
Common for mk4 faulty starter motors to do this but as said check the earths and wiring first.

Crank shaft position sensor dirty or failing???
Only a guess!
