Is it a pulling offence to have mud flaps dragging?
-
Looks great, what coilovers did you use?
-
Dont forget to get your tracking done now!!
Oh, and give me your wind deflectors!!!!!!

Cheers guys..... Mud flaps dragging, dunno TBH, wouldn't think so. Coilovers are hot tuning eBay specials, cheap, rubbish ride but low:)

Needs raising a little bit, would look better :undecided:

Think it would look right raised as Wayne said. Or remove the mud flaps FTW

No chance

No chance
No flaps it is then
-
My flaps came straight off as soon as the suspension was fettled and it's no where near as low as this. If raising it isn't an option then maybe consider spacing the wheel out so the wheels don't look so tucked away.
-
looks nice!!
keep the flaps.
mine is as low as that from the back and is slightly higher on the front but the flaps still catch and are in a right mess with all the plastic scraped off. esp going around a corner or the round about (depends on how fast) scrapes like a b*tch
-
Yes mate!! If I'm not there, insist on using the ramp on the left. The one on the right ripped some of my floor out!!! Also the service tech there is a Golf guru!!!!
-
Mate ill come round when your in
-
As has already been said, lose the flaps, raise it a little bit and space the wheels out so they don't look so lost. Then it'll look great :afro:

How low is it mate? looks good.
agreed on the flaps and then a VR splitter
-
Space your wheels out a bit and the look will be complete!
-
looking gd mate
-
as said by many. loose the flaps, and stick a VR splitter on it. job done. dont raise it.
-
Flaps are for girls...........
-
Sell me the flaps!
-
Flaps need to go in bin
space them rears and it will look superb
looking good as it is tho
-
try and get some WD40 on the nuts on the tie rods before you bring it in to loosen it up, its the nuts that are against the track rod end. If its too tight they will try and get you to pay them to loosen it!! I havent told you that!!
-
Ha ha nice one tez.
Dont like vr splitters
Flaps may have to go and i may have to raise it half an inch as after driving to work today im surprisedi still have tyres left thry scraped that much. ... Didnt take onto account bew tyres being 215/40's old ones were 195/40's
Its down as low as it will go with helpers in which they claim to be 120mm
-
What's a VR6 splitter?
-

Time after time it gets called that and always will I guess.

I had always assumed it was the 'early' lip, as my 1993 8v had it standard.
so it's not a VR6 splitter...
...and technically, it's not a 'splitter' at all, as there is no discrete edge to split the air.
Ah well.
-
looks real nice mate
-
thats looking nice and sitting just how it needs to be
your now closer to the earths core :nerd:
-
Not in this weekend chap
