My flaps came straight off as soon as the suspension was fettled and it's no where near as low as this. If raising it isn't an option then maybe consider spacing the wheel out so the wheels don't look so tucked away.

looks nice!!
keep the flaps.
mine is as low as that from the back and is slightly higher on the front but the flaps still catch and are in a right mess with all the plastic scraped off. esp going around a corner or the round about (depends on how fast) scrapes like a b*tch

Yes mate!! If I'm not there, insist on using the ramp on the left. The one on the right ripped some of my floor out!!! Also the service tech there is a Golf guru!!!!

As has already been said, lose the flaps, raise it a little bit and space the wheels out so they don't look so lost. Then it'll look great :afro:

try and get some WD40 on the nuts on the tie rods before you bring it in to loosen it up, its the nuts that are against the track rod end. If its too tight they will try and get you to pay them to loosen it!! I havent told you that!!

Ha ha nice one tez.

Dont like vr splitters

Flaps may have to go and i may have to raise it half an inch as after driving to work today im surprisedi still have tyres left thry scraped that much. ... Didnt take onto account bew tyres being 215/40's old ones were 195/40's

Its down as low as it will go with helpers in which they claim to be 120mm

Time after time it gets called that and always will I guess.

I had always assumed it was the 'early' lip, as my 1993 8v had it standard.
so it's not a VR6 splitter...
...and technically, it's not a 'splitter' at all, as there is no discrete edge to split the air.
Ah well.
