Title: MK2 side skirts/sills and arches
Post by: sketchy63 on 06 August 2012, 19:44
Hi, got a mk2 golf, with the thick bump strips, and was wondering if the plastic sill covers will fit the arches, as ive only seen them on golfs with the little bump strips?

Thanks :)

Plastic sill covers fitting arches?.... I'm confused about what you are asking?

What you have to check is the middle protruding bit on the wheel arch trim.  Thin for GTI and wide for driver etc..

90 spec arches have a bit that matches to the cill covers. I presume small bumper type arches won't have it. I'm sure someone with a small bumper gti will let us know
