Title: Headlights and wipers not working sometimes

So there I am driving to work and its getting dark so I turn on the headlights. Nor gwtting much from them though, but the dash lights up. Try to switch on highbeams but can't. Then it starts to rain and go to turn on my wipers no go. Fog light does not go on either.


I make it to work and turn off ignition and turn it back on and everything worksanyone got any ideas? Relay? Anyobe know which relay?

Scary driving on a41 as no where to stop as no shoulder.:(

Headlights, fogs and wipers run off the x-contact on your ignition lock switch, they have all individual circuits and relays... only common denominator is the x-contact I'm afraid.... this would also explain why restarting the car helped.

Replace the ignition switch, that should fix your faults.
