hello,
anyone know how you turn off the passenger airbag on a mk3 cabrio? need to turn it off for the baby seat to go in.

if there no key switch then u can not turn it off mate check ya glove box if not there then u can not.

It can be switched off with vagcom I believe

thanks for your help, will check the glovebox, if not will ring volkswagen as its not really practical to put the car seat in the back seen as its a 3dr

Dont take this the wrong way but should this not be considered before purchase ??

oh yeah definately, its ok though as its my running project. i have a mk3 1.4 5dr that is my daily driver, would just like to be able to take her out in the convertible too :smiley:

Put the roof down and theres plenty of room to put Baby in the back :grin:

i would if it would go down! lol. thats one of the things i gotta fix!
its ok prob got a while get before its going to be ready for outings anyway, the car that is, not the baby!
