Title: Thread of the week intercoolers haha

Who thinks someone should take the time to gather really good constructive info on the 1.8t based on the front mount intercooler?

Ie. you could go ths or forge?
You could build a wellycooler (I think thats how its spelt)
You could buy a toyosports kit off ebay..

All these will stop these threads which understandbly coming up as theres soo many different ways to get a front mount set up done.

And just for those who want my experience, I bought a toyosports intercooler off cully (Aka Andrew)
Here is a picture of the this fitted with some effort and the pipes wrapped in balck vinyl

Hopefully if its a good thread and people can spend the time with good pictures of their set ups without the bumper on etc and showing the different routes used we could sticky this for future use.

Ill enjoy this thread when it's got a few more posts as I'm looking in to a front mount so hopefully there will be some good info and prices to look over.

I also bought a toyosports cooler and need some help with pipework as dont know what pipes etc to get.

I had a pm last night about it! I would write a
List off what u need, but the new owner of the car has the reciept of the pipework now!

Ok did you buy all the pipework seperately then?
Also will I need 2.5" or 3" pipework as the inlet and outlets are 3"?

Is the toyo sports the type B cooler? If so they no longer make it with 63mm inlet/outlets only 76mm.

Wish i knew what pipework to get for fitting my cooler, cant wait to start fitting it now!  :undecided:
