Title: Door lock problems...

Been having a few issues with my drivers door lock mechanism...

Occasionally, now becoming more regular, when I lock the car the drivers door doesnt lock. I then have to unlock & lock several times in order to activate the drivers lock.

It also happens when the anti hijack locks - i.e. all the doors lock but not the drivers door. I then have to manually use the switch to unlock & lock the doors, at this point the drivers door will lock.

I think this is also linked to a problem I had which started a while ago. When the car was unlocked & the drivers handle was pulled to open the door, it felt like the handle wasnt catching & the door wouldn't open.

Is this the common convenience module problem?? If so is it easy to sort & does anyone know how much a new unit will cost??

Cheers Steve - I thought that would be the case  :sad:

Any idea's on how to fix? Can the unit be repaired or is it a 'get shafted by the stealers' part?
