Hey guys, just managed to source all the bits I need for a conversion to a 16v brake set-up for my 8v. However, the only bits I seem to be short of off the donor (Corrado 16v) is the hub washer and nut. Can I re-use the ones I will take from mine? I know the disc is bigger on 16v, but not sure whether the nut and washer are.
Also is there any "weirdness" I have to be aware of when I put on the new hubs etc....I am thinking camber setting etc. As I am pretty confident about doing all the basics myself.

you should really stick new wheel bearings in while the hub is off. Youll get a new hub nut in a wheel bearing kit. Also, you dont know how good the existing bearings in the hub are

May well do that, but it was more about the actual camber settings I was after advice for. Just wanted to know whether there was anything else other than sticking the new hubs, disc etc on. I though they may need an alignment and balance, but was not sure. Also wasn't sure about the camber....

As far as I'm aware the hub-end CV is the same - get someone with ETKA to check.
Once you've replaced the hub and brakes you'll need to get the front geometry set back up as it will be miles out. I'd take the opportunity to drop -0.5 degrees of camber on the front.

Is the -0.5 drop done as part of the geometry check by a kwickfit type place?

No, find a Protyre branch, or someone with a Hunter-type machine and an operator who knows their ar$e from their elbow.
