hello again really want to do this my mate said getting the engine in is a piece of cake just wiring is the issue i hear you can get looms made off rubjohnny for £100ish.

how much did it cost in parts for you to 20vt yours i'll be doing most work myself and with a mate who's a mechanic.

its been covered b4. Look in the mainanace section. Think inc engine with uprated parts such as bigger intercooler, oil catch can, 007-8 diverter & other things about just over a K.

You need to budget £2k or more in real terms by the time you have replaced all the service items, cambelt and water pump etc.

I'll Give it a think, easyness is the nuts and bolts hard part is the wiring to get it to work lol

I spent a lot more than 3k on mine going from an 8v gti. Probably could of been done for a bit less but it still all adds up fast!

im at about 1k now, but that includes buying an unlocked/remapped ecu and a k03s.
