Title: Mk3.5 parts on MK3
Post by: Rmachines on 01 August 2012, 12:04
Hi, i have a Mk3.5 convertable, im going to scrap/strip it for parts, its the AGG With an autobox and stock BBS wheels,  does any one know what parts people like to fit on the MK3, as i will put them up for sale and scrap the rest,  its a shame to scrap the whole thing, as i know the steering wheel, dash, front end, wing mirrors fit on the Mk3 and look nice,  is there much else that will fit worth stripping?

I like the chrome door pulls- better than the plastic ones on the stock mk3 :)

the mk3.5 boot fits on the mk3 cabrio because its smooth without the numberplate so thats a popular one too!

These also have the chrome door striker plates as opposed to the zinc plated ones as standard. the dash switch gear light up red instead of green which normally sell for decent money.

The grab handles are part of the roof lock,   i cant remember what colour the interior light is but i will check, and the sunvisors are back, i much prefer them in black.

Boot lid is the only thing you probably wont want, its got a lamp post dent in it, the main reason im stripping it actually haha, typical ay?

Front end looks nice on the MK3, i will sell the whole front end for £250.

Some photos for you,  Roof is also up for grabs if any one fancies a green roof, its in almost perfect condition.

This also has the 4 Stud rear discs, so if any one wants a read disc upgrade but wants to keep the 4 stud, this is ideal,  infact i assume the front brakes would the the same/similar to the GTI size which are of course also 4 stud.
