As the title, thinking of doin a pinstripe, what's people thoughts, I think they look really good on mystic blue

Anni's aren't yankie? I know mines not one but just think a red stripe suits the colour especially matching the red badges

But yours is green, pretty obvious a stripe with that would be :sick:

Does look good on Mystic Blue but just do the bumpers not the trim.

I like em, but not for every colour - Chrome looks good as well on some (well I think so) :laugh:

Looks too much all round which is probably why VW only ever did the bumpers :undecided:

Doesn't make sense VW leaving a pinstripe sized gap all the way round and then only putting it on the bumpers on the annis though

Just done it on mine, i hav mystic blue 16v too. Looks mint. Get the 6mm stagecoach off ebay. Dont go to halfords their stuff dont stick.

I put a red 6mm trim tape on my white mk3 in 2008. It's still intact and still looks the part...That was from halfords.

Best stuff is 6mm Stagecoach tape off the internet. Looks better, not as shiney as one from Halfords and sticks better. Plus its cheaper at £3.75

sorry for stealing the thread a bit but been thinking about doing mine for a little while but got laminx yellow fogs not sure if it would work to well with red stripe
they do a yellow too but might all be a bit much lol
golf in question is black magic pearl any thoughts anyone?

Can always just give it a try and see if you like it mate.
Can always take it off and don't cost much.
After a get my new wheels tomorrow and do the centres gold in thinking about trying a gold pinstripe.
I really like dark green and gold. Think the colours work well together.

You pretty much described my car, great minds and that I was hoping you would have picked a suitable pinstripe colour aswell! haha. Im tempted with red but not a bright red, as iv got some CL rear lights that im also hoping to tint to all red.

and yeah like you say its cheap and can be easily put on and off. there are some on ebay for £2.40 posted for 10meters. get the goooold

That's the same as what I got but in white and it was fine so my guess is that you got a dodgy roll!

I personally think red looks better but that is probably because everyone has red.
I think if I had a black golf though I would go for Orange :cool:

Red works but the yellow I also like, works well with the fogs

Just done my front and rear bumpers with red. Looks ok, with my CL rear lights aswell. Just need wheels and to be lower. Do whatever you like, takes 5 minutes to pull off and put new a different colour on, Change every week :wink:

As said done my front and rear bumper, havnt got a decent picture of the front but heres the rear end with cl lights aswell. I wasnt keen on the reds at first but the more I see them more I like it. Let me know what you think

I will I think, but only the bumpers. It looks a bit too much down the sides with the cc badges as well.

I know what you mean, I left the bump strips on mine. Think it may be a bit much...
