Yes - finally found some time to tinker with the MKII - got everything up and running - now just need a bit of help tuning the b*stard!!!
The problem I'm having I think stems from the fact I've lightened the flywheel, because on the run down, say if I'm changing gear from mid rev range, the rpm drops right down below idle speed sometimes to the point of choking and cutting out.
I've tried fiddling the idle point higher but the ISV is just too dam good and it seems to retain the same rpm no matter what. I'm not even sure if adjusting the idle would do any good because it drops below this anyway.
Being a clever dick and trying to cut corners i thought i would just be able to adjust the seating position of the accelerator cable a smidge but as soon as you get to the point where it starts chucking a little bit of fuel in the rpm jumps to way higher than i want for a comfortable idle speed - there is no middle ground....the rpm doesnt just creep up slowly as i was hoping
Has anyone got a quick fix or am i going to need a remap? Done everything myself so far, so really don't wana give it away/spend any money!!!
She's running digifant, standard PB head with GS2H cam, 2L bubble block, four branch, knn, i have got a FSE boost valve to fit but wanted to sort this first and obviously the lighter flywheel mentioned earlier
Any help would be ace - George

just need to set it up properly and possobly check the coolant temp sensor.
digi 2 is about as remapable as a chicken. ignition setting are fixed and thats what really controlls the idel, once you open the throttel a bit you lift it off the closed throttel position miroswitch asnd the ecu no longer tryes to hold the revs so it revs off.
lightend flywheel isn't causeing the problems
