Hi mate, what boxes are they and what do they need doing?  I do gearbox rebuilds on the side, usually do hondas but know my way around a VW box very well after having owned so many VW lol. Just have issues getting parts cheap sometimes, depending on what needs doing.

Hi Buddy, the main one I am desperate to get sorted is a DUW  box from my 1.4 2000 model as it is my main run about, reverse gear has gone in the one. regards Allen

Hi, if that's just the case of a new reverse idler, and overhaul of main bearings and seals etc.. its £280 all in.  Although sometimes the metal chunks can cause damage to other teeth, but that's rare to be honest, they usually drop and stay out the way.
