Not scary as such but you will be very lucky if you take the water traps of a mk3 for the first time and not find rust...

Dont listen to the scaremongerers! Most are fine when you take off the plastic, you only hear about the bad ones!

It's a mk3 right of passage, have a stiff drink and break out the drill.

Well I'm used to fords so might not be that bad really I'll start a thread once I get started just been cleaning for the past couple of week the guy I bought it off had been using it as a van
