Picked my car up last week (1.8T) with 65k on clocks with full history, had a receipt for water pump from last uear but had stated on recipt " cambelt not changed at time of water pump"seemed pointless to me bit hay ho,so after a few little jobs sorted I've got the cambelt kit and water pump and it's going in to my machanic this week for the fitting.£200 all in plus getting him to do a service while he's there :) keep up the full history.

Mechanic cant fit me in now till next week so just hope my original belt can hold up a couple more miles hahaha

Mine is only at 103,000 , not to bad for a 99 car. So around 8,000 a year!
Not to long before I have to start looking at the cam belt and water pump replacement time
