It hasn't got a cat, is .5" bigger bore, cheaper and most importantly ..... Hasn't got a miltek badge

Milteks are only as expensive as they are because they are a miltek

I have only just got mine and looks good and going by other people opinions who have them fitted .... They are good

 so if i were to pick up this as well and it went for an MOT, it would fail due to no muffler/centerbox? i'm sure you could  tweak it a bit right?

I have that exhaust fitted and it is very loud

It won't pass an mot due to the lack of cat, but if you find a 'friendly' mot tester it won't be a problem

Yeah this was also in the bargain section and I adviced against it.

Messaged the seller advising that he had over priced it and won't sell it as it is the same as the one that sells for 170 and he just said "and?"
Messages him and again and by his replies he sound like a scum bag tryin to rip someone off!

Why weld a cat to it and cause flow disruption?
For my not I'm just going to I to scrappies and buy a standard exhaust

The Exhaust arrived today,
Word of warning if you plan to fit one, Allow PLENTY of time, The studs in the turbo housing need to be removed,
1 was snapped already and 1 other snapped during removel of the downpipe.

Replacement bolts are included but the 1st task is to remove the old studs.

In our situation the turbo has to be removed so the snapped studs can be drilled out and the hole re-tapped.

secondly..... The holes in new downpipe flange dont match up with the exhaust housing studs, or holes once the studs are removed.
Ours need to be slightly enlarged, as do the holes in the new gasket.

Dont expect to do this in a few hours on the floor laying under the car.

Luckily the car im working on is a weekend toy so the fact we didnt get it finished doesnt matter

Is this the same eBay system we are talking about? Did you use wd40 on the down pipe nuts/ studs? I only say this cause I fitted this system to mine a month ago and had no problems getting it off the turbo and it did take me a good 2 hours but fits perfect only problem is when I go over humps and have the car loaded the pipe bangs on the rear axle

Yep its the ebay exhaust,

I soaked the studs with wd40, left it awhile then soaked again, One bolt was already snapped before we started and one of the others snapped.

Did you use the bolts included with the exhaust or did you use the studs that were already there?

I guess we have just been unlucky with rusty bolts.

Yup unlucky!  I used original studs and original gasket as I thought the new one looked a bit restrictive. You on th drive or on a ramp?

I agree with the gasket comment, The inside diameter is smaller than the original.

We are on the drive, I wish we had access to a pit or ramp.

Going to get the turbo off sunday hopfully and drill the 2 broken studs out and attempt to remove the other 2 and use the new bolts supplied.
