Just saying hi to everybody, just joined this forum, after buying my first Golf - a '96 VR6, i am down in Kent, and went to my first event at Paddock Wood at the weekend. I am going to be doing up my cheap tatty Golf, so be preared for loads of questions.

A VR6 is a nice base to start from.
What are you planning to do to it?

I bought it form an auction, its a bit tatty.
It needs a new wing due to large dent, i will probably put a new front bumper on it which is cracked, Ive seen a nice one at SWGmotorsport, and get the front end resprayed.
it needs a new drivers seat and door card, and a bloody good clean.
Cant complain for £1800
