Title: crazy revs!

Started up my 16v this morning and went crazy! It went straight to 2500 revs then danced around between 500revs and 2000 revs.took about 5mins for it to settle down.
Any ideas people? :sad:

Clean the ISV and throttle body, make sure the throttle is making the stop/switch when shut.
See if this works first as its free.

Check the wiring from the tps,it runs behind the head and gets toasted .

Ok cheers will check those things out,also my temp gauge only goes half way all the time even after I had a hose split and over heated a while ago?
