Title: Diferance?
Post by: stainesy on 30 July 2012, 14:50
Ok as everybody raves about cleaning the throttle body for a noticeable diferance I took mine off today cleaned it thoroughly with carb cleaner and also did the inlet pipe.
What diferance am I ment to be feeling here as its exactly the same  :undecided:
It was full of black crap and abit oily I the inlet pipe but there is no noticeable diferance.

It will only make a difference if it was really choked up or you were already suffering from a related running issue. If your motor felt fine beforehand then I'll doubt you'll feel any difference at all, follow it up by some porting and polishing, then you may feel a little gain.

Ok I take it all back. Just been out in my car for a long drive. WOW. Faster and tick over is crisp.
