Title: Thule roof bars on a mk3?
Post by: CL-SID on 30 July 2012, 11:03
Hi peeps,

been looking at mk3's with them fitted and I reckon they look awesome - I have the sunroof version is this an issues? I don't plan on it having a lot of use so weight should not be a problem.

Is there any other problems fitting them?

Thanks in advance,

Sid.

No bud don't worry

It's fine you can run roof racks with sunroofs no problems

I have some for mine. They create a lot of wind noise

What is the point of fitting them if your not going to use them, the drag they cause will really hurt mpg.

they will be used but for a roof box, suitcases etc.

Snowboarding, Ski's mainly - I asked about weight issues due to the glass in the roof and said it would not see a lot of weight.
