Title: what else do I need to fit coilovers?
Post by: ALBEEEEY on 29 July 2012, 20:21: just purchased myself some shiny new JOM coilovers and I also have 5mm spacers for the front wheels

I know there is something else that everybody always says to replace when you fit coilovers but can't quite remember what it is? :grin:

I'm not going to lower the front more than 50mm so shouldn't need an uprated ARB and I also don't want the +5 hp and 25 scene points that come with an uprated ARB

Post by: jockgti on 29 July 2012, 20:45: i just get mine from stealers or eurocarparts,can do both if you want first time i put new coilovers on i also changed rear bump stops

i have a tt arb with adjustable droplinks also for sale :wink:

Polo 6n2 Top Mounts x4 (front and back)
Mk4 Golf Bearings x4 (front and back)
Mk4 Golf Bumpstops x2 (Rear)

is that correct?

then top mounts, unless you plan on going massively low I would get standard versions. so 2off those

Now you may need new bump stops on the front and back. This is something you prob won't find out until you get the shocks apart so it's up to you.

so you will need 2x front top mounts and bearings
