Title: Drivers Window Dropped!!

Just had a call off the wife; drivers side window has dropped.

Hasnt smashed just a donk !!

What tools do i need ( is it screwdriver or hexagon head to get door card off) and do i need any other tools as it sounds like its come off the runner????

And guess what " its my fault " !!!

Need torx bit think its T25 to get the door card off then a socket 10 or 13mm to get the inner plate off

You seem to know how to do this of the top of your head - anyone would think you have removed the door card a few times....  :undecided:  :lipsrsealed:  :laugh:

You wouldn't think a mk4 would need the door card to come off - ever  :shocked:

You'll also need a new window regulator most likely, same thing happened to me the other day, the wiring on the regulator snapped causing the window just to crash down so I'm guessing that's whats happened to you aswell !

It will be the plastic clips that have snapped,

£30 for a kit off ebay to repair. Its not a bad job, just fiddly
