Title: Newbie In the Place - Howdy
Post by: Synchronize on 29 June 2005, 11:54
Hello All, just wanna say wassup? been a lurker here for a little while now, but thought its about time i joined and gave a little input. Got a 5 door mk3 16v in dragon green on a P plate which i bought back in november, but only recently had problems with (although i've done 10000 miles in since). Was on the verge of selling it, but had a full service, engine tune up, all the belts changed, and some decent tires and it drives like never before, so i'm gonna keep it!
Next on the list are new discs and pads all round as these are on there way out - any recommendations - someone said to me ebc are good, and I think a new exhaust system is on the cards - any recomendations - thinking magnex cat back?

Anyways, I'll be around
Cheers,
James

GReen stuf pads are good, ignore anyone that says get the red stuff pads, they are not good for road use as they take too long to warm up, so you are more likely to drive into someone with them on.

Exhaust depending on budget, powerflow (depends where you go for workmanship) longlife, supersprint etc are all good makes.
