Title: Rcd510 IPhone question

Hi guys,

When my iPhone is plugged in and playing my songs it always starts playing a song then skips about a second or so right at the start. Very annoying. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Oh yeah. Search ipod stutter. It seems to be a well known problem for some.

I've now tried around 15 different types of ipod / ipad in my car along with 2 different RNS510's and the original RCD510 and still the problem persists.  I use the SD card and Hard Drive to listen to music so it doesn't really bother me it was more out of curiosity to see if I could solve it.

http://www.my-gti.com/category/in-car-entertainment/mdi has a firmware upgrade to solve it. However all it did for me was to slow down the use of the ipod.

Some folk reckon it is the way iTunes is set up.
