Title: Head Blower - Poor / Slow / Powerless
Post by: knobby on 29 June 2005, 01:03
Hi guys

since the hot weather has arrived ive noticed how poor my interna blower is at pushing fresh air out the vents even on three i can heardly feel it on my face. u can feel it coming up the vents just not very hard. How does this compare to others.. ive got air con (which doesnt work) so i wasnt sure if this would slow it down as its been disconnected.

Any ideas?

On mine it comes out nice and strong especially on number 3. Have you got your direction slider on the right option? If you have in on windscreen only then not much comes out the vents. But if you put it on vents only its like a wind tunnel!

Sorry i dont know if air con makes a difference. Could be a weak motor - the bit under the dash in the passenger side.

Try running a fresh live direct from the battery like you said 1st. You might just have a corroded or faulty wire.
