Title: Engine conversions?

Hey all! I've had my 88 mk2 GTI 16V for nearly 2 years now and I think it is now time to give the old girl a well deserved rebuild/conversion, would like to know which conversion is least Likely to bankrupt me, cheers Jordan.  :grin:

MK3 2.0 16v ABF conversion is the best way forward.

Ahhh, I didnt think about that, isn't the mounting positions in the same place too?
