Title: Catalytic converter gone and suspension question
Post by: peterb on 28 June 2005, 22:55
I think my cat converter has gone ! Any suggestions on best one to fit ? GFS have one for about £100 any experiences with these? Also had new Boge springs and shocks fitted recently but the ride seems very hard . I love the lowered look but I think the car will shake to bits if I don t change the shocks or springs for a softer set up any suggestions ?

Are they boge turbo gas dampers? on my mk3 i got the boge dampers with H&R springs and ride feels very comfortable with the lowered look and on 17"s. however this is the first car i have lowered so have nothing to compare them too but i can go bout 10-20mph happily over broken up speed humps to give u an idea. should cost around£95.

I have boge shocks fitted to my mk3, has improved the looks and handling of the car by a vast amount, however they are a little harsh at times, but mine is dropped 55mm, so you can only really expect a harsher ride to comprimise for the shorted springs / shocks
