Title: Rust Round Rear Washer

Hi, My 16v has rust bubbling beneath the black plastic where the rear washer goes (seems fine around the wiper hole). Strangely, ingoring it seems to make it worse!
I know this is a very common problem, any thoughts as to the best way to fix it without great expense or leaving an ugly mess behind? Thanks

I would take the black plastic off and get the rust sorted, You might get away with hiding it back under the plastic or you may need it sprayed.

If your feeling keen you could get the paint and spray it in yourself, just go careful and make sure you get the polish out after to bring the old paint up to the new one.

Worst case is you have a go, mess it up and have to get it sprayed anyway. I am sure you can still buy the black vinyl brand new.
