Title: Air bag light?

Hey guys! New to this forum so sorry if I'm soon this wrong. Just got a 1.6 16v golf. I wanted to change the steering wheel to a gti steering wheel or an r32 wheel. Two questions. Will they actually fit to my car or do I need to get some spacers? And I wanted the airbag to work still with the new wheel but keep the light out at the same time. Many thanks helpful comments will

you need the airbag that fits the three spoke wheel as well, I'm guessing you have the four spoke wheel?

Yeah I do. The steering wheel I found has the air bag with it.

That should be fine for a straight swap then. Would of thought the connections are the same for the air bag.

just make sure you disconnect the battery before removing the wheel / airbag otherwise you will get the airbag light stuck on
