Title: Fuel pump Relay
Post by: oceanic-green on 25 July 2012, 16:34
I remember reading somewhere that you are supposed to hear this kick in when you open the drivers door. What does it sound like, as I don't hear anything when I open my drivers door.

how much are they genrally, as the only ones I see on ebay are from £4.99 upto £46.20

Nope, i can't hear any bzzzz sound at all. Is it likely to cause a power loss if it is not working properly? I think I remember reading it controls the injectors?

Ohh, right, my car has had a few problems not starting since I deleted the hose from the carbon canister pipe to the tip. It turns but won't start, this has only happened a few times though.

it could also mean your door module isn't registering that it's open...
