Title: Instrument lighting resistor help needed.

My Stack boost gauge is a little bright at night, does anyone know where I can source a resistor please and if fitted will it dim it down a little.

i have mine wired into my dimmer switch which obv allows it to be dimmed.

We tried that at the weekend but because it has a led type bulb it will not dim very much.

trial and error  really with things like that.

id proably start with a 1K resistor  and if to dim drop to 500 ohms  or 2x 1k restors in parralel if still to bright put 2 in series.

or pwm drive it but that takes more effort
