Guys I have jom coilovers on the vr... It seems the fleet hand front has jammed up... I have had a look on venom Motorsport at the kits they do... Can someone give me some feed back and suggestions on what brand I should go for also ride hight, I'm keen on a really aggressive stance, maybe 50ml front sand back?
Thanks guys

I had joms on my last vr - down 70mm and was awful
Now have fk's and down 70mm back - 100mm front and the ride is miles better
And you won't get an 'agressive' stance dropping 50mm
Pay cheap get cheap - pay more get more
Change your top mounts whilst your at it aswell

Which fk's do you have Leigh?

Which fk's do you have Leigh?
Just the fk streets, about 40-50£ dearer than joms.
Joms are good with gtis, 1.6 etc.. but they cant seem to handle the extra weight of the vr engine so its bouncy
The fk's handle the notorious M62 bumps near manchester really well

Considered some of them before my koni/eibach spring and shock setup but was worried the ride would but want to go lower now.
How harsh is the ride is the fk's and is it acceptable for everyday use?

My engine is an inch an 'alf of the floor and id consider it to be livable... cant run a vr splitter no more though
But my commute, general area is almost speedbump free

I've got speed bumps at the end of my street unfortunately.

I have to hit 2 on my way home, just drive them slowly and watch peoples faces as your scrape
Its them centre bumps that really get technical

I would be carefull with lowering a VR really low as they tend to smack sumps.

I'd say be careful and you'll be fine, use your noggin' over them bumps

So would 50ml front and back be better then?

Depends what wheels your running

60/40 seems to be the default norm.
