some bolts with pre applyed threadlock
and a small bit of paper that claims to be 100 points

I ordered a LUK kit from GSF, opened the box, and it was a Sachs branded item, and was completely identical to the OE one once removed!

Flipping Eck thom now you've really confused me...
I know the sach one comes with everything needed ie plates cover clip bolts but wasn't sure what the luk came with , I can get either one for a similar price

I bought a job lot of clutches a year or so ago (No golf ones ) all new old stock and all LUK branded boxes (Ex Unipart Stock).... But on opening them up I noted some were LUK (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280806605753) some Sach (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270824975302) and some Valeo (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280745765762)....

I had some bloke telling me I was selling knock off stuff so I phoned LUK in the UK to question them about who they get supplies from, and was told (and makes sense) that if they don't make a certain clutch themselves they buy them in from other manufacturer's & Valeo & Sachs do the same....

Valeo/Sachs/LUK all manufacture for OE so I'd have no issue fitting either :afro:

just random clutches that some motor factors sell and various traders sell on internet.  there painted blue or red  often sold as performance but they are pants,  can buy them in for around £20 a shot

put one in the passat thinking it was a crap clutch and poably not going to last anywhhr near as long as a decent one  but on a 200k car i thought it would likely outlast the car with ease  - i was wrong
