Title: Location of throttle body?

Where is it located? Any photo directions?

The one i saw must've been petrol as my brothers looks nothing like the photo i saw.

Tdi's don't have throttle bodies.

They are controlled by the fuel demand.

Thanks for the clear up guys.

His starting issue has been sorted actually (was EGR valve in the end). I was asking about the TB for the simple reason that i know most folk who aren't into cars don't have theirs cleaned & a lot who are still don't. I remember when i got my Astra & it was turning sluggish as hell & when i'd go to pull out there would be unreal lag & it was quite dangerous. Whipped the TB off & it was absolutely caked in crud. Cleaned it thoroughly & the difference was unreal.

But if he doesn't have one on his TDI then that makes it very easy lol
