I picked up a mk4gti t 150 agu was pretty nippy sh had it on dyno and it made 210.2 with 179fp but it looks totally standard apart from air filter and bov, so dus any 1 have any ideas wot cud b dun to it thanks in advance will put sum picks up wen my comp gets fixed lol,

its either had a remap and the dyno is a bit off, or its had a remap and a k03s turbo fitted. If the latter then either the map isn't very strong or the car has some problems.

Righto. Generally they wont look but never ever assume they wont look

defo had a remap, looks like a ko3s has been put on too. unless the dyno was dodgy, :-)

Iv always been told the only way a car can be seen mapd is on a rolling road, but if u bump the front and it's a rite off or some think then how would thay tell

they can scan the ecu as thats where the map is :wink:

Never worth the risk, any mod needs declaring.

definitely declare the mods, anyway, it doesn't cost that much more. I only pay £480 a year for my stage one remapped 1.8t golf

+1 never heard of the other place and I'm from Sheffield so probably arnt the best rollers

all depends what they set the temperatures at when doing the RR, some are very wrong :grin:
