Title: Front brake pads

Are Anni and standard 1.8t gti brake pads the same as in size etc . I think they are if I remember just the discs are bigger on the Anni ,

Also is anyone running some sort of fast road pads , as mine on the Anni are starting to smell / overheat .
I did a little search but on the phone at min.
