I've recently taken delivery of a new Golf (Mk6) and have noticed a very slightly uneven gap on one side (it seems too tight at the top and slightly too loose at the bottom)
I have to admit that the variation is probably less than 1mm and I didn't see it before I signed to say I accepted the car, but now I've got it home and I keep staring at it, I can see there is a difference.
Is this something people just accept, can these gaps be adjusted or is it all down to the location of the clips etc? I'm going to take it to the dealer, however, I'd like to know if it is even possible to fix this or whether I should just live with it. I noticed that another forum member had complained of a similar issue on his gtd and he mentioned that he was going to take it back in to the dealer, however, I didn't see any posts about whether he'd been successful in getting the gaps improved. Anyone got any experiences of getting panel gaps fixed?
