Title: Rear subframe bushes on advisory

Hi guys.Got an advisory on my MOT that the rear subframe bushes need replacing.Is it a garage job and any ideas on likely costs.

Ok guys need some help here.Just been to my local VW specialist to book my car in(Mk3 8v 95reg) and sod's law he's away on holiday for 10 days.Got my MOT in 2 weeks and i know for sure he won't be able to fit me in in time.So anyone on here know someone local to me in Worcester that they could recommend to do the work.Any help would be appreciated.

Any garage should be able to do it, its not a specialist job, just an annoying one as they'll probably have to burn out the old bushes

 :huh:.Well put the car thru the mot and shocked the advisory for wear on the rear subframe bushes never came up.Passed ok so i'm happy.Don't understand why they never showed up again.Maybe a different tester.

diffrent testers have diffrent definintions of f**ked or nearly f**ked

Is it that easy to do a visual inspection of the subframe bushes?
