shame they dont get a cut of all the Nurbugring badges you see on corsa's and saxo's.

I dont see how they could be in so much trouble as most of the main manufacturers actually test cars on there, so that must earn them some serious revenue

I read somewhere that the track was valued at 123,000,000€. If that's true then surely some ultra rich petrolhead would buy it!

Think they got massively in debt when new owners took over last time. They built the big complex and hotel etc, and it doesn't get used as was expected.  :undecided:

The owners are planning on going bust then buying it back from the receivers, they got into a lot of debt doing everything up and building the hotel (shame they didn't do the track up).

yep. when we were there, the complex and everything was dead. must have been maybe 20 people in the whole museum complex thingy while we were there, and the only reason we went in on that day was cause 1 you got a free gokart session and 2 it was snowing  :grin:
