Title: Length of ownership

Just curious!  How long have you owned your mk4?  Or for those no longer with a mk4, how long did you own it for?

For anyone who's has more than one, you can't put the total, just length of ownership of the one you had for the longest.

Just over a year, the longest I've ever owned a car for is 18 months and that was the Mk3. I'm getting bored of the Mk4 but can't afford/be arsed to change it at the moment.

4 years 2 months now, second longest car was 18 months

4 years here, girlfriend had it at first completely standard and about 90k on clock, she couldn't afford to run it so I bought it off her and started modding it, its now my weekend car / toy  :evil:

First one ive had and after i had it mapped it brought back memories of my pug 205gti

Mk3 I had for 3.5 years (reliable lil fecker) :laugh:
Mk4 1.8T I had for 3 years
Mk4 GT I've had for just over a year now :smiley:

3 years on my pd150 bought it as i coulnd afford the fuel costs on my old impreza, and the golf was the most fuel effecient thing i could think of with a bit of go behind it lol. and love the fact i can get 55mpg at 80mph  :smiley:
