Title: Newbie Looking for a Mk3

Hi everyone!

Great looking site! I am Tony from Telford and I am 22. I am in the market for a mk3 GTI!

this will be my first VW had minis the the last few years, but need a second car! Run my own mini forum so keen to get on the VW seen too!

Looking to learn some things from you guys and any advice on buying a mk3 GTI you can give me?

Good service history is required but engine wise they are fairly bulletproof.

Welcome. Just avoid ones with rust unless u fancy weldin it up. Service history, and swap out the standard suspension

Didn't say the mk2 suspension was any better len. That's why I always get rid of em. :)

after something with a lonish MOT, ideally new, running sound and no rust! dont mind it being standard or modded.

Budget up to a grand really!
